Special Instructions to be followed:
There are a few special instructions that you may need to follow before undergoing a color Doppler ultrasound examination. These instructions may vary depending on the specific type of examination you are having and the reason for it. Here are some general instructions that may apply:

  • Clothing: Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area being examined.
  • Medications: If you are taking any medications, you should continue to take them as prescribed by your doctor. However, if you are taking blood-thinning medications, such as warfarin or aspirin, you may need to stop taking them a few days before the test.
  • Food and drink: In some cases, you may be asked to fast for a few hours before the test.
  • Smoking: If you smoke, you should avoid smoking for at least an hour before the test, as smoking can cause vasoconstriction and affect blood flow.
  • Jewelry and accessories: Remove any jewelry or other accessories from the area being examined, as they can interfere with the ultrasound images.
  • Full bladder: Depending on the area being examined, you may need to have a full bladder. Your doctor will let you know if this is necessary.

Note: Our team will get in touch with you after booking, and guide you to follow the specific instructions
