ManufacturerABBOTT INDIA LIMITED
Product Description
Digene Mint Tablet 15’s belongs to a group of medicines called antacids used to treat acidity, heartburn, indigestion, gastritis (inflammation of the stomach), and stomach upset. The stomach is usually protected from the acid by a mucous layer. In some cases, the mucous layer gets eroded due to excess acid production, which leads to complications like acidity and heartburn.

Digene Mint Tablet 15’s is a combination of four drugs: Aluminium hydroxide, Magnesium hydroxide, Magnesium silicate and Simethicone. Aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide and magnesium silicate belong to a group of antacids. Aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide and magnesium silicate work by neutralising excess stomach acid. Simethicone is anti-flatulent which works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping).

Take Digene Mint Tablet 15’s as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Digene Mint Tablet 15’s for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as constipation, diarrhoea, dizziness, and drowsiness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
